Macaroni Pie

Macaroni Pie
 
• 1 packet cups elbow macaroni,
• 2 eggs
• 1 pan of evaporated milk,
• 3 1/2 cups grated cheese, reserve 1/2 cup for topping
• salt, to taste
• 1 tbsp. salted butter
• A pinch of cayenne pepper
• Bread crumbs
 
INSTRUCTIONS
 
1. Pour uncooked macaroni into the boiling water, then add salt to your liking. Once cooked, drain and set aside in a large bowl.
2. Preheat oven to 350°F
3. In a small bowl, beat eggs until fluffy then pour into cooked macaroni.
4. Add milk into mixture.
5. Pour in 3 cups of grated cheese, into the cooked macaroni, then add your butter and a pinch of cayenne pepper Mixed well.
6. Pour into a greased, 9×11 baking dish and top with reserved 1/2 cup of cheese and bread crumbs.
7. Bake until it meets your standard
8. Allow pie to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
