Sorrel Juice
Ingredients
• 6 cups of water or more (adjust to taste)
• ¼ cup chopped ginger (optional)
• 1 cinnamon Stick
• Rum to taste (optional)
• 2 bay leaf
• Sweeten to taste
• 2 cups of dried sorrel
*Add water, sorrel, cinnamon, bay leaves,.
*Cover and bring to a boil.
*Cool and cover with foil or plastic wrap and set aside at room temperature to steep
*Strain the liquid through a fine sieve into a container. Sweeten to taste, diluting with water if needed
*Add ice & if you are feeling plucky add some rum
